Popemobile Parade Held For Pope Francis Following White House Visit

I had the pleasure of photographing two events during Pope Francis’ visit to Washington, D.C. for Bloomberg News. First was the parade around the Ellipse following his visit to the White House and then I covered his address to a joint meeting of Congress.

The Pope called for Americans to do more to fight poverty, curb climate change and help immigrants. His visit to the United States runs through Sept. 27, and features stops in Washington, New York and Philadelphia.
