Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) brought his populist message to Northern Virginia on Monday September 14, 2015 where he spoke to a crowd of about 2000 at the Prince William County Fairgrounds in Manassas, Va.

Sanders, the self-described democratic socialist talked about an economy that he sees as rigged against working people and called for paid family leave for new mothers, a living wage and free tuition at public colleges and universities. He also addressed the threat of global warming and the need for a single-payer health program.
