So I was off hunting for either John Boehner or Nancy Pelosi so I could try and make a photo to go with the tax cut bill story that was in the news, but I was having no luck. Good thing I ran into EPA photographer Jim Lo Scalzo and Getty photographer Brendan Smialowski. They were headed to find Speaker Pelosi, and they knew where she was.
Worked out too. Got a shot of her leaving the Democratic Caucus meeting and made this shot of her with Rep. Barney Frank, reading the paper in the background.
The Wall Street Journal used the photo to go with their story on the tax bill negotiations.

I covered Lois Lerner, the director of the IRS division that oversees nonprofit groups, during a hearing before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee for Bloomberg. One of the images found the front page of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Lerner told the committee that she did nothing wrong and then invoked her Constitutional right [...]
